I love Aldi: Beef Stroganoff Review

What Aldi says it looks like
I'm sorry for the lousy picture above.. I was hungry and while waiting for the lovely PING from the microwave I quickly took a snap. I had this before but did not start my reviews then. I remember this being really quite nice so I wanted to get it again for a post.

What it actually looks like

Mushroomy...beefy.. and very peppery. Warning if you hate pepper, avoid this one. As usual the pasta is softer than how I would like it. But sauce it up girl... at least it was not dry!

Price: Tick - $4 c'mon not that bad!
Appearance: Tick it's not as bad as the Satay beef.
Taste: I do like pepper a lot so I did not mind it. I also loveee mushrooms and beef! I'm the only one who likes mushrooms in this house so I am stuck with getting my mushroom fix through these meals. LOL
Will buy again Factor: Yeap! 2nd time that I have bought this.

P.S: This is not a paid post. I had shelled out $4 for my own meal.

  1. Haha! I love your Aldi reviews.

I love beef stroganoff (my mum's recipe) but I'm not a massive pepper fiend. For $4 maybe I'll pop round to Aldi (just around the corner from my house now!) and give it a shot when I'm feeling lazy :)

  2. you're funny!!! i love these reviews too. i will make you beef strog just to stop you buying freezer meals from aldi!!!!!!!! :P

    1. Cat, Nat, i'm a total sucker for punishment.
I can cook.. but I see these little boxes of convenience and everytime I think. It cannot be that bad?!

  3. Woah good to know, I had my first microwave meal in years the other night when the boy was out. I kinda enjoyed and hated it at the same time, it was the kind of thing I used to have when working evening shift! haha I kinda wanna give this one a go now :P

    1. LOL I know what you mean by love/hate. I'm having a love/hate and I cannot face eating another one for a longgg time I think!
